Feb 8. 2011 - Aligned firewall with front edge of floor pan, drilled and cleco-ed. Plans call for 13 degree back slope.

Feb 13, 2011 - Clamped engine mount support bracket to back of firewall, then clamped top front longeron to the bracket.

Feb 13, 2011 - Top front longeron preliminary leveled and clamped to rear side skin.

Feb 15, 2011 - Drilled engine mount support brackets, and bolted to firewall with AN6 (3/8") bolt.

Feb 15, 2011 - Drilled secondary bolt location (AN4) through bracket and firewall.

Mar 11, 2011 - Moved fuselage from work table to steel beams on saw horses.

Mar 12, 2011 - Drilled, primed, and painted top engine mounting brackets. Drilled matching holes in top forward longerons,
and bolted together using AN3.

Mar 14, 2011 - Installed Rear Frame Channel. Drilled and cleco-ed to floor.

Mar 17, 2011 -Rear Frame Channel with Rear Spar Attachment plate installed. Required to make cutout in side skin for
fit.

Mar 21, 2011 - Upper Rear Seat Support ans gusset installed.

Mar 22, 2011 - Panel positioned across longerons.

Mar 22, 2011 - Proposed panel avionics.

Mar 23, 2011 - Marked and drilled main gear mounting brackets.

Mar 23, 2011 - Main gear brackets drilled and cleco-ed to main gear channel. More holes will be drilled when side skin
& internal bracing is added.

Mar 26, 2011 - Went to Shelbyville Airport to visit with Dave Gardea, who is building a Zenith 601/650. He is using
a Corvair engine, FAA inspection scheduled for April 1.

Mar 29, 2011 - Fitting forward side skin to fuselage. More adjustments are needed to make sure everything lines up OK.
